"TRUST THE SCIENCE"

I know this isn't popular and it is still unfolding but, we've been being told to trust the science about Covid for a year and a half now. I'm just curious, who trusts the science now? The truth of it's origin is now beginning to come out. It seems the scientists (including Fauci) may actually be to blame. They are all hiding from the press now.
I hope a recurrence in the winter doesn't screw up football season again.

I will never be able to describe to you the absolute horror of what this past year was in the hospital for patients, families, my coworkers, and myself..
What I will say is that I have NEVER ONE TIME heard someone say "trust the science." We didn't know what it was, we still aren't sure how to treat a bad case well, and don't know what the future will look like. Even the vaccine felt like a gamble.
Pre-vax, the ONLY thing that made sense was to mask up and wash your hands. And unfortunately people struggled with that basic level concept. Is there even much "science" related to covid to trust?

Yes Israel discontinued the mask mandate for 2 weeks inside and the Delta Variant hit them hard which is more
contagious and Israel implemented the mask mandate again. This pandemic is not over by any means.

I agree, and the ones that refuse to be vaccinated, maybe not all, but a lot will see the day that they wish that they hadn't been so hard headed bc, this next rain of covid 19 is believed to be 3-4 times deadlier than the covid 19 virus that crippled the world last year. Hospitals will be so overwhelmed that you will be better off just dying at home, if the rest of the house occupants have been vaccinated, and if not, do your loved ones a dying favor, check into the hospital with the hopes that your decision has help to save them....

I think there's more to come as well. My whole family got vaccinated months ago just to be on the safe side. We haven't stopped going to work or going out to eat or going shopping from the start, but getting vaccinated seemed like the logical thing to do. I pray this thing fizzles out, but there is probably more to come.

I’ll take my chances. I didn’t mask up last time unless in grocery stores ( I had to then). You people can keep believing the “science” crap all you want. A 99.9 percent survival rate is good enough for me. This vaccine isn’t even approved by the fda yet. Still experimental.

It has been approved by FDA for use in humans, for nearly 40 years. I can't imagine why anyone wouldn't be taking ivermectin! Numerous studies show that it is highly effective against all strains of co-vid.

Still watching Fox "News" huh? Yeah, I tried injecting the disinfectant your Donald recommended and ended up having to get the vaccine anyway. It would have been nice to have the vaccine available before the disinfectant, but your Donald being the strong "leader" that he WAS convinced us all that it would all go away. Can't wait till he returns to office in August, and this pandemic will magically disappear.

Its sounds like it came from a lab. That doesn't change anything here though at the moment. I really don't care where it came from. My guess would be that it accidentally escaped a lab in Wuhan. If it came from a fish market in Wuhan it really wouldn't change anything. Who cares either way as far us basic people are concerned? It was awful either way.

All I can say is that I followed the COVID protocols, got vaccinated when it was available, and did not contract the virus. Seems to be working for most people.

If the science would just come out and say- we don't know what is going on- maybe it could be trusted a little more. Do as we say- is not going to cut it anymore.
I still say mask have little effect on it- Medic on a boat with a crew of 150 people, at sea for months at a time. Quarantined for two weeks- three negative covid test- on the boat to the work site, two guys came down with it. NO outside contact. It is simple - I was the one taking care of these guys for several days, until I was able to remove them to a higher level of care. Not once did I have any symptoms of covid, was tested three more time and each was negative. (I am lucky-I know).
If you want a mask wear, if not don't, it is up to you. I don't judge either way!
They said if you have your shot you have nothing to worry about- then said well maybe you do.
They said if you have your shot- dleta won't be a problem- now they are telling healthy people they should mask up, even if you have been vaxxed fully. Just admit that you have no clue science, I can have more respect for that than what you are doing now.
