Totally agree. How about the pitch clock? I saw an entire minor league game using it. About half way thru I decided I could live with it. This is coming from a traditionalist.

Went to a minor league game earlier this summer and a 7-4 game lasted less than two hours and 40 minutes. Sign me up for that!

they ain't. If a team wants to put their entire team down the first base line, then that should be allowed. I do like the pitch clock though.

Totally agree.
These players are getting millions of dollars per year. If a team wants to make the decision to put a guy in the batting order that can only hit it to one side of the field, and STILL agree to pay him those millions, that's on them. What the other team does to field against your liability isn't any concern.
Just like pitchers throw away from batters' power zones, infielders move in or out, outfielders move around, etc. Like you said, if you want to put everyone on the baseline, fine with me. Banning the switch is stupid.

They throw so much harder now a days. Kind of hard to place it opposite field. Doesnt matter how much they make. Even the best have issues and thats why the shift is there.
