Getting paid well to coach at Clemson or get paid more to jump in a dumpster fire? They stay at Clemson until the right job comes along, they can afford to be selective.
Chad Morris can tell them how well it worked out for him with 2 good chances SMU & Arkansas. Assistant with Kevin Steele (DC) again, back where he was 10 years ago, just at Auburn now?

The guessing and wishing continues!!! They guessing about either one of our coaches wanting another job somewhere else for close to the same money or maybe less to have the title of Head Coach. Rest assured that all of our coaches have seen what happen with Chad Morris, and others like Chad that left a secure job, and their new job has led to them being fired and having to hunt or wait for job offers at places that would never be as good or safe as the great jobs that they left for a title.
I personally don't think BV will ever leave Clemson bc he loves what he does at Clemson, and he is able to bring in some of the top talent from around the country, and he is able to do that bc of the championship caliber teams they have made Clemson FB into. For them to do at another school what has been done at Clemson, it would take years, and in those years, there would always be a risk of being fired. BV loves being settled in one place to much for him to take those risk. For Tony, I think that Tony sees himself being the HC at Clemson when Dabo retires, and Tony loves where he's at and what he does.
Dabo, BV, and Tony, all three are the same when it comes to the beginning, and the ending of teaching young men to become great men by the time they're done with them at Clemson, and when peering in at the coaching tree at Clemson, it's beginning to take on the look of X Clemson players, and it's all bc of their mentors still being the top coaches at Clemson to continue their mentoring from. I hope that I'm not wrong bc, it is my belief that Dabo, BV, and Tony will retire at Clemson when that day comes for them!!!!! Go Tigers!!!

head coach. EVERYBODY thought Venables was headed to Kansas State a few years ago, but that didn't happen.
Venables is a better version of Bud Foster at Va Tech. Everybody is not necessarily striving to be a head coach. Venables seems to love what he does, he is also making a lot of money at Clemson. Why leave?

I think we will lose Elliot or Streeter within 2-3 years. If Elliot goes first, Streeter probably moves up and stays awhile. But it's possible Streeter will get recruited out from under Tony.
I think it's 50/50 that Venables leaves after his boys do, or stays until Dabo is done.
Regardless, this is an incredible time to be a Tiger, and our coaches who are responsible for it agree!

Both will probably move on eventually.
CBV's youngest son is only a freshman and our defensive talent should peak over the next couple of years.
Elliott is surely a goner if the right opportunity presents itself. If Jeff Scott does well at USF, the demand for Elliott will skyrocket.
I just hope they don't leave at the same time. Maybe Elliott after this year and CBV in 2023 or later.

Notice how Coach V declined comments and how any sources are unnamed. This usually means the writer is making it up. You are correct. Any schmo could have written this bull.

Sources are rarely named. There's nothing

unusual about that. They don't want to throw their sources under the bus like that because they want to keep good relations with them for future stories.

Whatever! I say Venables will still be the DC when Hunter Renfrow takes over as the head coach. I say this with knowledge of Venables’ thinking.
