glad Dabo is telling it like he sees it. Clemson up the bad putting and this team wins big. Duke has got a pretty good team, but Clemson should have won with the plays within the 10. Tigers will catch on fire starting this weekend.

Man, he is really digging in. I respect the fact that he has his opinion and strong in the face of all of the noise against it. However, he is painting himself into a corner of a must win situation. If the team doesn't win ( a lot) he will be forced to defend an unsuccessful strategy. I feel as though we are witnessing a transition period in our program. Only time will tell, but this is painful to watch.

What does Dabo GAIN from saying "yeah, maybe we should have used the transfer portal to go get some WRs" ?. NOTHING. You think he should come out and say that to just validate other people's opinions? Even if he sees it as a problem he isn't going to come out and say it. What kind of message does that send to your current players?
You think he didn't realize we were going to have to do something about OC last year? Did he EVER come out and admit it mid-season? What's the point?

When it comes the portal, he just shouldn't say anything. When asked, just say "we evaluate our needs and evaluate who is available and we go from there."

Didn't some poster share a Twitter post or something where Dabo said he love how the offense performed and that's where the quote ended and folks were going crazy thinking Dabo has lost his mind?

No more talk Dabo. Fix it. Start getting the potential out of all this 4-star and 5-star talent we were all so excited about. Start coaching fundamentals like ball security. And for fu{#s sake find someone who can coach WRs on route running.

He just isn’t going to tell you that right now. But that day is fast approaching. And he can’t do it mid-season. I’m sure Garrett is in his ear about it too.
You do have to wonder if Dabo is measuring up Riley to see if he could takeover the HC job in the near future. I just think Dabo may be looking to exit college football as it stands today, but wants to leave Clemson in good hands too. I think he has a higher calling. Maybe even as commissioner of the new power league.

Like Dabo, I remain confident in this team. If we finish 11-1, we go to the ACC championship. If we win that game, we are in the CFB. We have put ourselves behind the 8 ball, but the opportunity to have a great season is still there. We have the next two weeks to iron out the wrinkles.
