Well at least he points out the turnover problem. 4 games in and we have all matched the total turnovers for points of all of last season. That right there to me is the only real reason we lost 2 game this year. I have heard it my whole life of being a fan of football. Turnover will lose games for you.
It does not matter how good the rest of the stats. You can spot the other team 7 -14 points every game and expect to win reliably. to met they can work on all manner of things, but literally controlling the ball when it is on your hands needs to be the biggest focus for skill improvement this team needs to make. Either when you catch it and need to run, are rushing, or passing. Ball control literally starts with controlling the actual ball or pointy thing.

He did blame the fumble on the RBs missed assignment, and not once has Dabo ever admitted all the assignments he has missed with hiring inexperienced coaches to coach big boy FB. But before his teams ever starts back playing championship FB, he will have to own his mistakes even if he only admits them to himself and makes a few changes with his staff. If he doesn't do that, he will never be known as one of the great HCs bc that is the difference the greatest HCs, and the average HCs, the greatest HCs would correct their mistakes and move forward trying not to make the same mistakes again. All HCs make mistakes, what makes them great is they will correct their mistake before it cause them to lose their job....

Great game and great response by Dabo, as he always has. We will not be in the playoffs, but the ACC championship is not out of the question. This is a great team that will have to wait for next year to win another national championship.

It was not a great game. ACC is out. This is a great team with sub par coaches. We will lose at least 2 more games. I’m not a happy camper right now…

I say that even if he did luck up and win the ACC, what has he won bc that is where the winning would stop dead in it's tracks bc there is no way a Two loss ACC team gets in the playoffs this year. They may when it's changed to 6-8 playoff teams, but it will never happen in a 4 team playoff. A two loss SEC teams would get in before a two loss ACC team would!!!

You obviously weren’t a math major. With losses to Duke and FSU they both have to lose THREE conference games for us to get in the championship game. Beyond slim chance we beat UNC or ND. We’re headed for a meaningless Memphis or Charlotte bowl game. Hope no commits back out.

Pathetic. Excuses. Clemson did not make plays offensively at the end of the fourth. That was attributed to very poor coaching. Let’s rely on our kicker instead of scoring a TD. A lot of fans are disappointed especially the past 4 years. 2019 with Trevor was the beginning of the fall. I can honestly say that since then this program was starting to decline. Offense has been figured out but Dabo doesn’t want to change. They were offensively and defensively exposed in many levels. The coaches stick to the same boring play calls, hirings, and cling on to a chance of hope. Wake up Dabo!!! This program is steadily declining. Please stop with lame excuses. Bryant Wesco will decommit. Players will no longer want to attend Clemson. Stop being stubborn Orlando deal with your mid-life crisis on and off the field.

No he didn't... what we want, because you don't seem to be able to read, are position coaches that reflect the quality of the players they are coaching. We DON'T have that because of Swinney's nepotism/cronyism. CDS has taken the joy out of watching Clemson Football.

Where is the metrics speech? Have I missed it yet? 6 inches from a first down and a pass????? How long have these kids been playing football??? How much reminding should a coach have to do to teach that? NFL tests IQ and that kind of logic won't score very well. And what does it say on the coach that even gives a play like that a thought in that situation? Watching Alabama right now and I'm seeing MASSIVE, PHYSICALLY MATURE, AND ANGRY OL basically send Ole Miss the message to get out of the way or pay the price. Can't help but think that we're getting what we deserve when talented kids are coming in because they're told if you're skills are special enough and you work hard you'll play early. Sending 17,18,19 year old kids to compete against 20,21,22,23 year olds with equal or better talent is sending lambs to the slaughter. Unless you are a true manchild you need to be developed. And that can't happen if you're playing before your time with hopes of making it to the league. Now we have 170-190 pound kids getting blown up by players 20-40 pounds bigger and just as fast. They get hurt and are never the same. I'm not seeing Alabama's or Oregon's skill players getting carried off the field.

FSU = 17 starters as transfers! 17!!! Hired guns. And, yes, they won. This game.

Should he be open to some use of the portal? Sure. If a kid comes here and chooses to transfer, then the portal is fair to fill that void “if” it’s the right fit. It just hasn’t happened.
So, to all the spoiled blowhards: I’m sure back in the Natty years you walked around with your chest pushed out and your Clemson hat on and let everyone know who’s the best. Well, now you got nothing to do because a Clemson win is the only thing that you live for and can define yourself with.

So, yea we were beaten by the portal and our own coaching mistakes but let me say this, our kids competed when everyone thought we could not stay with FSU. Our receivers, who have been written off by so many were great and showed a lot of potential that we have not seen, even without our best 2. Credit to them. Stellato showed some potential that we have not seen, Brown is going to help us and Cade played well so there were positives.
The real question is where do we go from here and can we sustain pride and effort when our goals for the season are gone - well I guess we can still win our last game but the ACC and playoffs are obviously out the window now. Don't kid yourself - the odds of us running the table and Duke or FSU losing THREE ACC games is about like winning the lottery.
So, show us your culture Dabo - don't lose this team and let's see how many games you win for the players and for next year. You guys that came back for one more special year, make it special by being leaders and showing the young guys how to prepare and play one week at a time to win every game you play.
While that may not sound like much - it may be the best lesson in life you can ever learn.
Let's go out on a 9 game winning streak!
