As of right now he is at least don't have to worry about hamestringing the team to last minute to see if gets another year when there are other players can focus on.

Well, not that shocking since there is no guarantee that he will get one more year of eligibility.
At least can focus on a replacement on the portal, and not worry if gets amother year or not.
apprecaire everything Jack brought to the team, and wish him the best.

I wish he would stay if eligible.
He looked good, but not great, and could have improved next year, if eligible and healthy….

Good luck.

Thats disappointing. I was hoping he would be back for another year.

His defense and rebounding would’ve been helpful, but it will be nice to hopefully have more scoring from that position.

His return would been beneficial without a doubt.

Does this hurt our chances for the elite 8 next year?***

offer a scholarship to a guy who should be out of eligibility and needs a waiver to play. Best of luck to him.

that there is no issue from the NCAA in going to a 4th college in 4 years, all about education right? I suppose this is also where all the fans who were giddy about him returning next year and running the whole team back, claim he was average and we now wouldn’t need him and can do better, sad viewpoint! He was a solid player and will be missed, this squad could have used his intangibles.

He graduated from La Salle after four years. He might get to try a third graduate school if he gets the 7th year.

Who was giddy about him returning? I mean I would

have liked it because I think he brings a lot of value for his role but pretty much everyone considers him out of eligibility- our coaching staff probably included. I wouldn’t think he is a good candidate for a hardship waiver based on how much he has played. He is also a grad student. Hunter and Hall are the only 2 with known eligibility- we’d be happy to keep either but I don’t expect either to return.

I am pretty sure CBB is having the exit interviews with his players for the year and this was probably a result of that. With the commits coming in and taking up the NIL there probably wasn’t enough $ or spots on the team

Players transferring away from this basketball squad is just an annual tradition. It's not even newsworthy for Clemson, though it would be for other schools. Guys being recruited should be aware that it's 50/50 if they're going to feel this staff is a match for them.

You have no idea what you’re talking about

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Thats what happens when you use the portal a lot like CBB

… you don’t necessarily have the buy-in and emotional attachment to the school and it’s easier to move on.
