Reading the summary, it appears Dawes continues to believe attacking the basket is best done from outside the arc. He has the lowest percentage attempts inside it in comparison to Honor and Hunter by a good margin.

Reading the summary left me scratching my head.
"After trailing by as much as eight points, Clemson battled to a one-point deficit – leading by the same margin at points – by halftime."

… our losses follow the same pattern. That’s on the coaching staff. They are the ones who should recognize the “why” and fix it. If they’re not up to the task, then move aside and let someone else lead the team.

Absolutely, and I've seen just as many others have seen that we have players on the team that act as if they don't shoot the ball when they get their hands on it, they may never touch the ball ever again. They will charge toward the basket with team mates all around that would have a better shot, and they will throw the ball up and miss the shot by a long ways. There is absolutely no discipline with the majority of Brownell coached players!!!!

Precisely, why Brownell Must be Fired. Coaching, Coaching, Coaching is what wins at the end. Remember Tommy Bowden did the same thing, had talent that kept us in the game until halftime and then got out coached in the second half... Sounds just like Brownell??? 8 years is enough wasted $$$ Contrast Bowden & Brownell to Dabo.. Dabo could have made excuses this past season that would have been Totally Legitimate, but No legendary Dabo found a way to Win 10 games that any other coach would have been lucky to win 5 or 6. 8 Years is a Gracious Plenty. Fire him Now and begin the search so that we don't lose another recruiting class. Clemson has $$$$ go get the best

Very sad to say that we seem to be in a constant, revolving pattern with our basketball program of throwing good money at bad options and getting very sad results. I have heard during my life this pearl of wisdom, "If you always do what you have always done, you'll always get what you've always gotten'. It's just "SSDD" when it comes to Brad Brownell, and we've spent enough (way too much) time and treasure on this failed experiment.

Just mystified that Brownell continues to blame the team he recruited. He is all the time talking about the Tigers size difference yet Brownell signed these guys. I understand with the portal it's even more of an issue guys transferring but Brad you have a direct hand in who plays for this team and you continuously bring in guys not talented or big enough and those are your words. Brownell is a great guy. He seems very nice and very basketball knowledgeable but his problem is bringing in the guys he needs to win at this level. PJ Hall is a great player and may turn out to be one of the best to ever where a Tigers uniform but he is a local guy that you should get and he has outperformed even hie high school ranking. So great job recruiting PJ but it's just not enough. I don't even think Clemson is even a though for the Jackson kid from South Carolina this year and the #1 player in the country. NOT EVEN A THOUGHT FOR HIM. I was willing to give Brad a couple more years the year he was recruiting Zion and thought if he were fired Clemson wouldn't get him, who knew Zion would/could be bought for a year though he was staring at a multi-million dollar deal just a year later but now I'm done. Brownell needs to be gone. He is a lower division coach. That's why he keeps bringing in lower division talent. Easy to get to the tourney when you play just a handful of meaningful games a year. Goodbye Brad and good luck but I'm done with this team until you are gone. Oh by the way this game had no bearing on this feeling. This was a get in or bust year for me.

Well shucks...call me a pessimist (I'm not normally) but I guess there goes our tourney hopes.
We were so close too, our guys really have been tough and professional all year, have never given up.
So strange we can't make more out of it. Anyways, Go Tigers!!
