Well Bill, personally I believe that the NIL and transfer portal was one of the main reasons that Nick has hung up sneakers. What coach with good sense would want to deal with this circle jerk the court and the NCAA created mainly for college FB, the sport that he was the best at coaching. It's not about the HC anymore as it is about how big is your NIL account!!!

I already know that there are many that will disagree, so let me first say that IMPO, Nick Saban is the greatest college FB head coach in all of my time, and I've been on this planet for 71 years...
