It's certainly not up to me, but I think this is a mistake

He hasn't established that he is even remotely the same player since his surgery.
Good luck to him though !!!!

a receiving yards perspective, I wonder if he wouldn’t benefit from another year with hopefully improved QB play.
I’m sure he’s done his homework and knows this is the time to do it. Best of luck to him!

With DJU slinging it he didn't have a chance to do that...

None of the receivers had a chance of big success. I think that had a lot to do with the WR malaise we saw in 2021; the receivers knew there wasn't much of a chance of any real success.
You are correct. JR08 will be a later-round draft pick (at best) after 2021. If he returned, he would have a chance to replicate or even improve on his freshman performance. He may not have the physical skills to do that; but at least he would have a shot at it with Klubnik.

While I'm still concerned about his ability to get back to the level he was pre-injury, there is no doubt that the young man works as hard as any I've seen. The NFL will appreciate his hard working spirit even if they do question if his physical ability is what it was 2 years ago. While I think his draft stock is not what it once was - I hope he is able to excel with whatever team takes a chance on him.

Carolina Panthers fan but hope the Jacksonville Jaguars draft him just because of Trevor Lawrence. That would be so nice to see those 2 hook up again together.

Can't see him going in the first or second. Maybe 3rd or 4th? Maybe later?

Speed in 40 and agility drills along with lots of x-ray analyses will determine draft round.
A year on an NFL practice squad could be just what the doctor ordered for J.R.

Best of luck JR! So glad you were and are a Clemson Tiger. I'm hoping you can get reunited with TL16 in Jacksonville. That would be SWEET . Could be a Win-Win!
