If Clemson knocks off Georgia, then the pundits will make an excuse, that Clemson isn't that good, or Georgia wasn't themselves. Florida State lost tons of players, yet they're still supposed to be better than the Tigers. HOGWASH! If Clemson's offense takes off in Riley's 2nd year as OC, the Tigers will have a great season. DJU won't beat Clemson at FSU, for a couple of sacks will take him out of his game. He'll throw interceptions like crazy like he did when he was here.

Its hard to disagree with this assessment. Until the Tiger Offense shows something better than we've seen. I have hope with the new coaches and players, but we'll have to see it on the field before we get roused up by these type of predictions.

FSU and Clemson should be basically the co-favorites, in my opinion. The ACC has essentially been ran by those two programs for 40-plus seasons. Since 1980 (44 seasons), Clemson and FSU have combined for 30 ACC football titles. The only time it hasn't has been when those two have had down years. I can't take Miami, NC State, Louisville, Va Tech or UNC seriously right now.

In a few years Clemson Culture continues to prosper and the transfer portal is seen for what it is...
Recruiting is the best way and Builds a stronger foundation than plug and play players that may or may not work out. How many teams had the success with the portal like FSU did last year? Laugh if ya want but i doubt there are that many diamonds in that ruff this year..lol.

Is everyone going to be alright?
Is the "my entire sense of self-worth is wrapped up in Clemson's national football perception" crowd going to be ok? How will we get up in the morning, put one foot in front of the other, and show up at work? Are people going to laugh at us? What is the world coming too? How dare they?
The past 10 years 100% of these same sports experts predicted Dabo would bolt for 'Bama the 1st chance he got.
Dabo's most talented teams on paper were among his worst. Coaches do need to player develop a little. We're a LOT closer to being elite TODAY than we were anytime over the last 2 seasons.
