Hate they just squeaked in as national seed, considering they went undefeated against 2 teams seeds higher (Georgia & NW). The late season struggles undid the good things from early in the season. Very unfavorable draw knowing the Oklahoma juggernaut awaits in Super Regionals.

You saved me for having to post. I will support them. Just like the girls since the FSU game, my confidence is shook. They have the talent to beat anyone if the just believe. Oklahoma included. Tough draw though. Coming in as a 17 seed would have been the best case scenario. Super regional foes would have been much easier path to WCWS.

I am glad Clemson is hosting but they got the shaft when their RPI was 14th and they are the 16th seed. I don’t understand these selection committees thinking just like our BB team not making the NCAA Tournament.

an easy out for Oklahoma in the Supers. And, if the hitting doesn't pick up, we will never know, because we won't make it that far. Sad to say, but a season that started with so much promise has really gone in the tank the last month. Let's just focus on winning GAME ONE of our regional that we play in.

You can call our finish a stumble if that floats your boat. I call it playing better teams the latter part of the season. Finishing the regular season and ACC Tournament with a 46-9 record and being a 16 seed is a great year.

Even the ladies if being truthful would say they have limped to the finish line. The goal was be even better this year and heck through the first 38 or so games absolutely but let's be honest we all thought even the coaches and players it wouldn't have ended like that. When you expect to be elite and I'd say we have programs that do like football, soccer, softball among others it okay to point out the warts. The girls expected Omaha and nothing less, they just aren't playing that way.

Going to try and make it up this weekend to support our lady tigers! We struggled at the end of the season. So stay focused on one game at a time.
Oklahoma sure is a juggernaut though if we do advance!

I think we deserved a little higher spot given our overall record and wins over both Georgia and NW who are both hosting. That said, we just flat out are not hitting right now. Also, outside of Cagle, our pitching has taken a little step back. So, if we hit it somewhat like we did earlier in the year, we will advance. Auburn has a stud pitcher so advancing will be tough.
