We could use a top 3 class and all of them turn out as good as advertised. Then the portal would be a moot debate. If you hit on all of your recruits then one would have no problems!

That's a lot of ifs. Would be a nice piece. Friends with Barnes. If Reed wants him, then it's a good chance he's a good one. But toriano pride was a good one too. And obviously mukuba is/was too. I like Kantor's take, he says about 60% hit rate is a good target.

So, kudos trying to prove the portal isn't needed but you're never getting a 100% hit rate. All our classes look great on paper. But transfers, injuries, and busts are going to happen. So the portal can be a valuable tool.

Would be great to land him. It's interesting that he decommitted from uga. So he may truly be in the market for another program--one that better fits him. Hope we are it.

UGA may have backed off of him and the use of the portal to bring in experienced guys may have been the reason he backed off.

Clemson offers him security of not getting passed by a portal guy.

Dabo is using his lack of portal use to his advantage.✅😀

I hope it pays off in the long run. We have treated our recruits like family!

It would make him and Clemson very attractive to recruits for years to come if we could win a national championship honoring our recruits.
