You have more confidence on our defense than I do. The game in Chapel Hill in 81 was one of the best I have ever seen and it set up the opportunity for us to win the National Championship that year. I hope that will be the case this year as well if we can beat the Irish.

have you looked at who the domers have played thus far.not one team has a winning record-a 12-28 aggregate.no ranked teams.this fact should figure into the equation.

Clemson did beat #11 Miami solidly and has beaten many excellent teams over the last 6-7 years. Notre Dame's record against really good teams is not good. Not sure how important this is, but the experience is certainly on Clemson's side. I like Clemson's coaching too. Dabo-Brent-Tony are terrific. The feuding leprechauns also have an excllent staff of coaches. But again, the big game winning experience is not there yet. We shall see.

Gotta stuff their OL & not have any turnovers. I hope our corners do a better job this week against the pass. We gave up too many unchallenged pass completions to BC. I expect BV to tighten that aspect up this week.

Nice article.
I expect ND to move the ball on us between the 20's, running the ball and using their TE's against our linebackers and safties.
They might even get a lead on us, but the Tigers will have a decided coaching advantage and we pull away in the 2nd half.

Mickey Plyler probably has it the closet to being what the score will likely be at 24-20 Clemson. Though it could be even a tad closer than that, and if DJ Uia and Clemson make mistakes, it could be that score reversed for ND.

How many teams could be headed on the road to play a top 5 team without the presumptive number 1 draft pick and say "I sure wish we had our DT this week?"
This is not throwing any shade on TL16 - just how much confidence I have in DJ. With ETN and our receivers IF our OL shows up we will be fine but having another stud in there beside Breese would make a huge difference. Someone needs to step up on D!
