Yea that's tough...was hoping with just 2 holes left that Turk would make a birdie or two to either tie or finish all by himself at the top...that 216 yard Par 3 8th must be a tough hole judging by the scores

Not sure if it is any kind of advantage, but this will be the third Fazio course in a row that the Tigers have competed on. Designers tend to create very similar features on each of their courses, so nothing should surprise the team. I think it is about the same length as the course they finished, so that should not be a problem. Like most desert courses, if you are too far off the fairway you are in desert. One of the courses seems to have a little more rough before you get to the desert, but I am not sure which course they are playing.
Another factor, and I don't think this is to our advantage, is the heat. I suspect that they are going to have temperatures approaching, or even reaching 100. That may take a toll on a big guy like Zack, but let's hope not. These guys are young and healthy!

That's true, but probably won't make too much difference. Also, the elevation there is about the same as it it is around Clemson and the other last couple of venues, so that won't have an effect. I know one of their courses has Bentgrass greens and assume the other does too. I am assuming that both the past two courses we have competed on had Bentgrass, so hopefully that will also be in our favor, although many of the other teams played on Bent. The Stillwater and Tallahassee regionals were probably played on Bermuda greens.
