This whole ACC tourney comes down to one thing for us

Which version of Hunter Tyson shows up? Is it the one who can run off 6 three-pointers in the span of 3 mins or the one who can’t hit the ocean from the pier. Everything else is inconsequential.

Disagree The Tigers have talent in several positions. Hall can be a terror when he is really on to his game. We have seen numerous guys step up their game this year at various times. Tyson can win this game by himself if he plays as you have suggested. The Pack will make a big effort to shut him down early. Hopefully that will fire up Hall et al.

I agree, with one caveat

Tyson always seems to set the tone for the team. Will this be a team that drops 85 or 60? That’s always the question for this group.

No it boils to can we control the tempo like we did in Raleigh. If State is running and shooting like they did last night, they can win the tournament.

If its up to one person then we'll lose.

Tourney teams that have success have to draw from multiple players. I can usually tell if we're going to lose in the first 5 minutes. If we're settling for contested 3's and are missing them over and over without even trying to have success penetrating and getting to the line then you know we're donez0. Its like they just give up and say its 3 point shooting or bust.

In both matchups this year, Clemson has done a good job limiting their guards. In Raleigh, Clemson shot the ball very well, but wasn't totally dependent on the 3 pointers. This game will come down to how well Clemson defends their guards, and if the pack employ the same defensive strategy they had last night, Chase Hunter and Galloways ability to be strong with the ball and penetrate the paint.

I wish I could argue to the contrary...

but that is an entirely accurate take.

Sometimes good things fall apart so better things can fall together.

The blueprint to disrupt Clemson was created with the UVA game.
Put in your face pressure on the guards right above the 3pt line messes up the entire Clemson offense.

I hope to all that I can, CBB and this team come out with a smart strategy and get NC State on their heels early. Great motion, swining and sharing the ball, hit 1 or 2 threes as well as dump ball in the paint. Maybe pick up 2 quick fouls in first two minutes.

Then, keep that pressure on. Get NC State rushing and hurrying.
