But go on and tell me all about how attrition is normal, and Georgia can account for signing 25+ every year.

limit every year is not normal attrition, it's manipulation. Just like UT only having 5 players make it from kiffins last class, just like the rash of medical redshirts that plague bama every year, just like wr's in columbia being encouraged to transfer. The SEC catches all of the fish they can, and then just throws back the ones they don't want.

So is this how it works...

UGAy signed 19 in 2012, and 33 in 2013 = 52. Now you say there is a cap of 25, but 25+25 = 50. So again, how's that limit working out for you?
Oh and if 13 of UGAy's 33 in 2013 count for the previous class as EE's, wouldn't that just be 19+13 = 32? (this is a legit question because I really don't know how that works so I am asking)

But the point is sez schools sign more than 25 each signing day through various loopholes.

The 25 cap turns out to be a flim-flam job by the SEC. It was pure smoke and mirrors. The 25 cap only applies to new enrollees in the Fall. You can sign as many as you want in January and the counting backwards only applies to NCAA limits. The 25 cap is completely meaningless and was just a piece of marketing to help deflect some of the negative attention the SEC was receiving for oversigning.

It sure seems to have helped their fan bases, because they just think it's fine to cut the players after all the big promises. I wonder if they have to give the cars, houses, jewelry, etc. back when they get cut? That would be an interesting answer to hear.

Then when cornered on the practice field and asked(by everyone's favorite #### reporter,RN)about pulling scholarships , the OBC said "some guys need to realize they're not Div 1 material" (didn't he recruit these guys to start with?). Google the local Cootville news, it's on YT.
Sure the facts really bother dykbrains, you just say what you're programmed to say.

"The NCAA allows football teams to add up to 25 new scholarship players to the roster per academic year, so long as the total number of scholarship players does not exceed 85."
South Carolina signed 109 players over the four years leading up to last season. 25 in 2012 32 in 2011 (had to count 7 back to '12 even though limit was signed in '12) 24 in 2010 28 in 2009
The NCAA obviously assumes attrition of up to 15 players over a four year period, thus allowing 25 signees despite the 85 max. SC signed 9 more players than the assumed attrition would have suggested. Schools with little attrition should sign around 22 a year.
