from Harris in center to double off Harper by a half step.

That’s Derek Jeter ability and big play skill there.

Anybody remember the play he made against the Braves in the WS when he caught an errant throw to home and flipped it to home with his glove to get the runner out at home? That dude was uncanny! This play was very reminiscent imo.

I believe that was against the As in the playoffs. I could be mistaken

That was one heck of a play he made, and there wasn’t anyone behind him until the back stop, Iggy and Travis were both backing up Olson. Let’s hope this brought some fire to the team, because that lay off absolutes drained our bats for 13 innings.

Yeah, just looked it up. He got giambi in the 01 ALDS on that play.

No worries! Wasn't trying to argue just second guessed because I thought I remembered the big man Jason Giambi being too slow.

Jeter's play was the step above great. He came across the diamond to a place on the field he wasn't schemed to be in, cut off the throw while moving perpendicular to the flight of the ball, spun and made the throw home.

Riley was kinda supposed to be where he was.

Really good play by Riley. Epic play by Jeter
