If he does, indeed, commit to Clemson, his commitment may be a magnet to entice other highly rated recruits to join the Clemson program. Many fans had given up on Brownell but he has shown that he is the right man to lead our program.

With recruits like this Brad can turn us into an elite team. He was probably quite close to getting Zoin and this will be his shot at another difference maker. Its refreshing to see the investment in BBall facilities and coaching paying off.

Many yes, but not all of them  !!! There were a few that believed that he was a good coach, and that if given enough time, he would turn a pretty bad BB program around. Count me in as one that is really happy for Brad and his family, and for the future of our BB program!!!

However, I had it on good authority that Zion was coming to Clemson and that changed in the hours leading up to his announcement.
I do not think that we should count out Tennessee, as Rick Barnes is a good recruiter and Josiah supposedly enjoyed his visit to Knoxville.
I do not know which experts predicting him to go to Clemson, but hopefully it is based on good information and not simply the timing of him canceling his Duke visit and announcing a press conference this Wednesday.
I feel good about this, but agree with not counting our chickens before they hatch...

All we can do is hope hope for the best, and Brad deserves a lot of credit just for getting this type of talent to even consider us bc, it has been a very long time ago since we've had talent like this to even come for a visit!!! Just like it was with Dabo, get them to come and see what we have to offer, and sooner rather than later, some will like what they see and stay. Then build from there!!!

I agree with ColTig.....not gonna get worked up on this because they did say same thing after TN visit and we're basing that just because he cancelled his Duke visit after visiting us that he's picked us? I'll keep fingers crossed and wait til Wednesday. We already been "Zioned" once.

and still get just as much exposure playing the Big Dogs of college basketball, or he could pick Duke and possibly just be another player. I just wish we could get him like now for this season.

we don't need him this season. we already have a great backcourt in Mitchell and Reed and will be ranked in the preseason. we will need him next year when they are gone...

We still take him regardless of who we have bc we have to start bringing in the big time recruits at some point to make our mark in college BB just as Dabo and coaches have done with our FB program. Clemson FB in it with all the big players even when we don't get them, but we will get our share. And that is the stamp we need with our BB program!!!

Absolutely, if some of these kids were thinking the right way, coming to a program like a Clemson where they could/would be the star, they would get tons of ACC exposure that maybe they wouldn't get at a big time college basketball school bc there will be others at those schools just like him competing for that type of exposure!!! The very best player at a big time programs gets the most exposure, they always have, and they always will!!!
