I don't have the time to do it, but it would be nice to see what percentage of players end up in the portal multiple times.

I’m not even sure it’s necessary to report on this stuff anymore. The portal is not the rarity it use to be. Unless it is a big time program changing player, this transfer stuff is pretty much standard procedure now.

I think Fred got told to hit the bricks due to the off field antics with the street racing. I bet Malcolm Green got the same message. Star players might have exceptions made for them for those kind of things but not depth guys.

Dabo don’t do star treatment. See Sammy Watkins suspension by Dabo. That’s part of why I like Dabo so much; he doesn’t play games or see superstars as special.

I kinda like it. Seeing someone learn that they've thrown away a Clemson opportunity for nothing...that the grass isn't always greener on the other side of the fence...that maybe they *aren't* all that...
I mean, if they left under good terms, I wish them success, but still...

I can agree to feel vindicated that it proves Clemson wasn’t what was holding them back but I certainly have never reveled in the mistaken choices people make, especially young people. Lord knows I’ve made plenty of them myself. At the end of the day, these kids are just making decisions that they *think* are best for them, which they should.
College football has always been a dog-eat-dog world having just 4 short years to prove your financial value to a (hopefully) future employer that could make you a millionaire. Add in the new world of NIL and a free for all transfer portal, I can’t blame them for wanting to get in on the action. It’s like going to a casino and hearing everyone cheering and throwing money around at one of the craps tables.

How any team ever manages their roster anymore especially the non-blue blood types is beyond me? These kids need to be required to sit 1yr if transfer before they graduate. They need some type of penalty.
