In the Walt Disney Tourney in Orlando. Another good win for the ACC over Boise State. This was tougher since it was on a neutral court.

This will boost scar net too since that's VT only loss. We have some good games coming up.
However, one reason I am predicting we win the acc is because overall it's down and the parity up and down has never been like this. Uva doesn't look as strong, unc, dook, both can be beat.
What's happened to fsu.

FSU is better than the last couple of years. Not the injuries that hurt them the last two years. Just best #18 Colorado State.

Former Tiger Lynn Kidd has really come into his own for VA Tech. He had 19 pts tonight. He is leading the ACC in field goal percentage and top 10 in the NCAA.
Also, Memphis beat Arkansas today to advance in the Atlantis Tourney. The Tigers are really going to get the chance to get some huge type resume wins coming up.

Yeah, kidd really stepped up last season. He looked darn good tonight, and hit all his free throws.
Nice tournament for Memphis. Beat Michigan, then arky.
Thanks on fsu. Forgot they had the injuries last year. Didn't know if they brought in some good transfers or what. Seem to be better than last year for sure.

is nearly 3x the number of FBS football teams so you can kind of view top 75 as the equivalent of top 25 in CFB.
#70 in CBB is top 20%.

Wow, quite a stretch. Being excited about beating a team that if the season ended today - would not come anywhere near making the dance or the nit. Nobody gets into the dance with a “good win” of beating Boise State.

Not sure where that bs came from.
I simply think Brad schedules cupcakes OOC early in the year. 5 games in and not 1 is ranked higher than 72.
Teams need a challenge. Or at least a mix of both.
We have no idea what we have. When committee looks at schedule strength, ours is lacking. That puts a lot of pressure to win every single game at the end.

They have made the Big Dance the last 2 seasons and had some returning players. You can't really judge much from that but it isn't a bad win to beat a team that has had some recent success.

Yeah seriously, that's all it is. We beat a team that made the tourney the last 2 years, and had some good returning starters.
We were favored by 7.5 points. It was a good win, but nobody is saying we beat an elite team.
