But that’s what happens when you refuse to be vaccinated. It puts all of us in jeopardy.

I don’t blame any of our elected officials for the initial reactions. They were trying to protect the citizens with what we knew at the time. However, as time went on and we learned more the stubbornness to admit facts became laughable. Also, the persuasion and government control tactics were unconstitutional and disgusting.

The drug companies & those involved made a fortune off of covid & vaccines regardless of where you stand about getting shots.

My daughter has Lupus and her body reacts to everything, so none of us have taken any vaccines or flu shots ever, we got sick with colds in March of 2020 possibly covid, but we’ve had a clean bill of health since.

In hindsight I’m thankful we didn’t, the money spent on covid & vaccines has been unreal.

Hopefully we are to a point people no longer argue about it or get touchy, none of that mess was worth it. I love you you if you took them all or didn’t. It’s really silly the way people got all upset over a shot or not.

The pressure to take it or not was ridiculous, I’m thankful grown adults don’t get angry about our medical choices now.

We as a nation have at least grown up about that, so covid did bring us all together in loving one another!

No, not really. I own a bunch of Pfizer stock. It went from $45 to $60 per share during the height of the roll out. Their profits were so so. The stock resides at $30 per share with a forecast for very few vaccines to be sold. Covid was a disaster for Pfizer and their shareholders. For true price gouging and huge profits you have to look to companies like Apple, Microsoft, or Nvidia. Big Pharma is dead money and and you have lost a fortune if your tied to any type of Pharma index fund.

Re: Lol. Me being vaccinated has nothing to do with your

1

Nov 11, 2023, 8:41 AM

Yes but if you believe that the vaccine does protect the individual then it stands to reason we are all financially impacted by the insurance burden of the unvaccinated.

Also the root theory of vaccines is based on herd immunity. That being that enough susceptible individuals become vaccinated the virus can no longer spread. This means the vaccination of low risk individuals is as important as anyone else for the good of the herd.

I’m not saying you don’t have a right to say no, but you are wrong if you are saying your vaccination status doesn’t affect others. You do you, “boss”, but try practicing some humility.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Only supposedly helps the upper deck health poors

Nov 11, 2023, 10:28 AM

Not people with half way decent health. The vaccine has nothing to do with helping others period. My vaccination status helps no one. If you have bad health and are vaccinated you should be good if you trust it. And I guess we have heard immunity so I'm doing my part.
You do you too boss.

Re: The wife, myself

1

Nov 11, 2023, 9:43 AM [ in reply to Re: The wife, myself ]

Getting vaccinated does not stop the spread or make you less contagious. Nor does it prevent you from getting infected. I got the first rounds, but have not since as I am a 49 year old in great shape. If I was in the high risk category I would get vaccinated.

We had it again about 2 months ago. At this point, it is just a severe cold and there should be no restrictions around work etc. This worse part for me was a wicked sore throat and it took about 3 weeks for me to really feel like myself in the gym to be able to really push it. Generally how I judge how well my body is. So it does linger for a bit.

Just another virus at this point from what I have seen.

I was not sold on the vaccine but took it due to age and a couple of risk factors. Had 1st two vacs and boosters in April '22 and April '23 due to traveling to NY (figured that was high risk territory.)

Caught the COVID in August from a friend who had been in San Francisco for a month or so. He got back on Monday and we went to a concert Tuesday came down with it Saturday. I was pretty sick, congested, et al for 24 hrs. Ran a little fever the next day took Tylenol and felt fine there after, but have bad a lot of sinus drainage.

The Vaccinations certainly didn't prevent this new strain. It may have helped prevent the earlier ones but who knows. A lot of people with vacs have had multiple cases.

Me too buddy! O-positive. Never had Covid that I’m aware of. If I did there were no symptoms. My daughter is O also and has never had it and works as an RN with many hospital patients with Covid. My husband has a different blood type than us and has had Covid. The week he was out of work I never distanced myself from him and still didn’t get it. I have had the vaccine and boosters but not sure if that is why I didn’t get it. Tests have shown that people with O blood type are less likely to get Covid.

Not to be ugly but I can almost guarantee you without knowing another thing about your cousin he or she was overweight and not in good health. This was truly a pandemic of the obese and there is a lot of data now showing almost 80% of the Covid deaths were 30% or greater BMI and the balance were over 70 so age was a factor.

A lot of people in their 40’s-50’s were overweight and had underlying health issues that Covid exposed. It was entirely possible for them to have lived more years without major symptoms so that makes it truly a sad time

"LBB may ruffle a few feathers, but there are a lot of posters that irritate me a helluva lot more. Like, every time some wanker posts political crap on the Football board. They all know Tnet has a Politics forum, but oh heyall no, it makes too much sense to post there. They just wade in and start pooping all over the carpet, with total disregard for everybody else. The last 5 years or so have been really bad... Trump, Biden, Covid, Vaccines, Libtards, MAGATs, conspiracy theories, you name it. They're the most popular threads, too. When I first saw the thread about the Maine shooting, I told my GF - Oh, I know where this thread is going. Sure enough the next day it had about 150 replies with people arguing gun control. You could post the cure for cancer and not get that many replies."

I have never understood why people do this. Never. It's like going to a Coin Collecting forum and posting all the time about How To Build Your Own Deck. How cotdamm stoopid is that?

Rant over.

IMMUNIS SYSTEMA VACCINE

Nov 12, 2023, 4:08 AM

I have the Immunis Systema vaccine which has thus far proven to be effective. Of course, my vaccine was free and didn't take 4 days to develop in a lab, but it gets the job done.

Our country won't go on forever, if we stay soft as we are now. There won't be any America because some foreign soldiery will invade us and take our women and breed a hardier race.

It never was a thing...CDC has admitted they've never isolated nor have a sample of the virus. They simply co-opted the flu, called it something else to scare the sheep into taking a highly deadly experimental shot. Some of us knew before the scamDEMic even started. The elite have been talking about killing off 95% of the population using vaxx's for decades if not generations. It's all there and been there if you've been smart enough to turn off your TV and do your own research. Rockefeller report from 2010 outlines the entire scamdemic to a T, the entire thing, laid out...time to wake up.

COVID is never going away

Nov 14, 2023, 9:11 AM

Just like the flu (which I believe is still the 1918 strain that devastated the world at that time), it's a virus and, while it will change, mutate, and ultimately become less potent - it's never going to completely go away. Get used to it. Colds, flu, COVID, etc - all part of life now.
