As we all know UNC cheats at sports. Remember the fake class for basketball players? Profs. being paid for classes which did not exist. And of course the University denied it all. So, I am going to give you a brief history of the founding of UNC. Don't believe anything you read that disputes my history lesson because all the UNC history is written by die hard tar holes. You can't believe anything they say.
UNC was established in Sept. 1865 as a mail order school of law for Yankee carpetbaggers in which you could get a law degree by mail. Just fill out an application and mail it in. If your place of birth was in the North, you were sent a certified law degree. The yankee carpetbaggers who flooded the South after the civil war needed to use the new legal system to cheat the natives out of what the yankee SOB Sherman had left behind, which was very little. But to a yankee carpetbagger, the land itself is what they were after. They saw textile mills in their future close to the source of cotton. And later the mills moved from Mass. to the south. And your ancestors became owned by the company store.
So, when that scalawag bunch representing a mail order law school arrive on Campus to challenge a legitimate University, just remember that UNC is still upholding its tradition of handing out useless law degrees to scalawags.
Now you know why that mascot was chosen. They needed something to use to make that mail order sheepskin.

Any list of rankings of Top Universities ranks North Carolina in the top 3 in the ACC along with Duke and UVA.

UNC sucks. The Tarheels have won 1 ACC football Championship in the last 50 years. And the Heels have cheated big time for decades going back to point shaving in the 50s, and fake academics in very recent memory.
Given that reality,it strikes me as unnecessary to make up fake info to slight UNC.
UNC was founded in the late 1700s and they they have buildings on campus almost that old. And UNC-CH has an excellent academic reputation despite their cheating at sports.
Just because our national politicians lie all the time does not make it OK or set a precedent anyone should follow.

UNC was founded in 1795. It is the first and oldest public university. I have a degree from there so I kind of just know. Also, you can actually do a 30 second search if you like.
Yes, we suck at football and we are going to get our brains best out tomorrow. But good grief, stop posting made up stuff.

I would expect you, a graduate of a mail order law school diploma mill for skalawags to call my real expose "made up stuff". And to slaughter those poor sheep for your mail order diploma is horrible. I hope someone from PETA reads this and puts an end to that front of them using that sheepskin ram diploma maker as a mascot.

There was no internet in 1865? Bull crap! My history prof at UNC said General Lee used social media to communicate with his officers in the field. In fact it was an internet breakdown that led to poor communication and ultimate defeat in 1865.

If that is true, it just goes to show you that those yankee carpetbaggers who started that mail order unc were not very bright if they chose the pony express over the internet. Maybe that history prof. you had was one of those who was teaching those fake classes and got confused about which class you were supposed to be in. Either that or he did not know that Al Gore invented the internet. And Al Gore was not alive in 1865. A real University such as Clemson would never allow that history prof. anywhere near our great campus.
I am going to have to have the deputy mod, evict you from tnet if you continue to question my history lesson regarding your mail order scalawag law school diploma mill.

I apologize. Please don’t have me evicted. To be honest I was not even around in 1865 so I can’t speak accurately about things before my birth. I was not born until 1870 so it’s possible your post is accurate.
