after the SEC's new contract comes into action.
That's when ESPN's exposure starts occurring for helping bid up the rights for the SEC through inclusion of OU and Texas.
They had a fiduciary duty to the ACC, and basically stomped on it instead.
Once the SEC is paying premium dollars to the SEC, we can leave to go to the B1G so we don't lose Brand value. Then instead of us paying the ESPN, they'll be in competition with B1G for our TV rights again.
Of course we could always leave to go to the SEC and not pay ESPN, because ESPN is the sole owner of SEC rights and we would not be competing with them.

You are correct more often than most AND I think you were sincere.
BUT I’m just not seeing this immediate catalyst for us moving to one of the other three. I do not think and have never thought that FSU and/or Clemson are must haves ASAP for SEC, B1G, or even the little Big.
Now once we start talking a four team package (as some speculate is possible in the future) with the pretty girl everyone wants to date - UNC, her somewhat attractive best friend UVA, the ##### of the group FSU (no offense Bret), and Clemson (you all project for yourself what Clemson’s role in this mean girls group is)…. then I’m feeling a little giddy.
But for four teams to bolt and the GOR hanging over our heads, I’m reminded of a quote by former Baltimore Mayor Clay Davis:

Honestly it sounds like inside the program that it’s pretty confusing and maybe not settled quite yet.
Hood and Williams both heard two different things. I know neither one is lying so clearly there’s confusion.
Appreciate you coming back and “owning” your comments. Let’s see what happens. I think it’s safe to say we’ll hear something concrete by August. I for one, am kinda glad we may till the offseason. Just don’t need the distraction and also it gives the fans something to talk about when the news is slow.
