Mizzou might have a rough time at WV without Matty snort the chalk Mauk. They are SEC now, so the 5 strike rule might be in play.

I would not call UNC vs UGA @ Atlanta a neutral site.
Interesting that UGA, LSU, Auburn play no tough out of conference games away. Cowards.
Bama vs USC @ Jerry World is a neutral site, but I'll be surprised if it's not 2/3 or more Bama in the stands.
On a personal note. I don't care for watching games @ Jerry World. That giant screen is amazing, but you wind up watching most of the game looking at the screen. I always leave feeling like I missed the game. Give me Death Valley all day long, far superior atmosphere to watch a ball game.

Yes your relationship is unique but these are still mandated games by the conference.
Being unique doesn't change the fact your ADs are not scheduling these games.
Says a lot about your argument that you're having to intentionally be disingenuous.

It's not a made decision by Clemson's or sc's ad to play the palmetto bowl every year. Does that mean we are in the same conference?

Ha-ha. Wow. It is absolutely not a choice by our ad's. I was making a point anyways. Just because the games are mandated does not mean that ND is in the acc. Sorry you can't understand something so simple. Every team ND plays is a non conference game for the other team.

It says a lot about your argument when you can't provide one link to back it up. You are the only one being disingenuous. It is a statement of fact to say that Notre Dame is not a member of the ACC in football and that all games against Notre Dame are considered out of conference games. The fact that you're even arguing otherwise shows how little you know about college football. You are literally the only person I've ever heard try to argue that Notre Dame is a member of the ACC in football.

1) ND is a member of the ACC 2) ND is mandated to play 5 acc teams a year 3) ND is eligible for ACC football bowl slots.
There is nothing I need to provide. I can't make you be rational.

Just provide one link showing that Notre Dame is a conference member in football and you will have an argument. Seriously one link from billions of websites. It's not that hard. You are a typical SCar fan, no interest in factual evidence.

I think it is pretty obvious Norte dame chose to remain independent in football for $$$$ reasons and they are free to keep all their deals but still join the ACC in other sports.
Everyone remembers how great the deal was for ND and how silly the ACC looked for allowing it.
The only thing that made it somewhat rational including giving up a bowl slot to ND was the requirement to play 5 ACC teams per year.
I think that is the guys argument in not pounding chests over how tough the ACC chose to schedule out of conference. Those ND games are similar to CU games against Miami, VT, UNC games in that you must play them every few years. Same with ND
Bama USC - UNC UGA - Clemson - AU are not mandatory games and are chosen by ADs
I guess he is saying they don't count as voluntary tough schedule games because they are mandated by the ACC
Interesting that Clemson could have been a 2 pt conversion and FG from missing the national champ game had ND won. Lots of mad fans had that mandatory game been a loss thus keeping Clemson out of playoffs.
Granted the win helped strength of schedule and it was beneficial in the end.

Norte dame does not count but also not in the ACC. They are still technically an independent in football. That's why we didn't get credit for an acc W when we beat them this past year

ACC in football.
#2) The point, I am guessing, is that your pansy protected programs schedule creampuffs and then pound your chest about how you play each other and how tough that is because of the performances against...each other. The ACC...being unsuccessful in getting Notre Dame in the conference for football, made sure that Notre Dame played ACC teams as much as possible. It is the very point he is making...we don't shy away from tough competition.
