Sort of, I guess. The seller countered with an offer a bit higher than what I offered. But I only had 24 hours to respond and I was really busy that day and didn't get on my computer to respond to his offer. The next time I checked it had sold.

That messes with an old joke about play-calling: Howard would send

in plays: RR, RL, RUTM. Run right, run left, run up the middle. The QB once sent Coach a message: How bout a pass? Howard's note: FU.
I was on the sideline on our Cheer Squad for that '67 game, played in Columbia, and which we won. Three home games were big that year: UGA and Bama, both of which we lost, both with a little under 50,000 in attendance. The third was against tenth ranked N.C. State, which we won. We won the ACC title that year, undefeated in conference play, and wound up 6-4. Got to meet Bear Bryant on the sidelines, who brought with him a young player by the name of Danny Ford!
Exciting home games with the number of people all over campus and downtown for those three games, and fans were packed on the EEZ hill and the one left-facing the north stands; huge crowd also standing. One heck of an adrenalin rush standing atop the hill, ready for the rundown for those games with an overflowing crowd standing, yelling, clapping as Tiger Band cranked up Tiger Rag!
For that Carolina game...played on November 25th, by the way...we Cheer Squad members travelled to Columbia the day before with most of us staying with either Clemson or Carolina friends, went to parties, the game and hung around Five Points afterwards. Over 40,000 folks crammed into Carolina Stadium for that game. Great times!

I can read them. Buddy Gore right. Buddy Gore left, Buddy Gore up the middle. I believe the score was 23-12.

if the had the correct year on it. The USC roster lists Mike Fair as a sophomore. He was a senior in 1967.
