I can't imaging the SC AG ever doing this for Clemson...

Does not surprise me one bit. Look what's happening in Athens.

Men at 25 play football. Men at 40 play tennis. Men at 60 play golf. Have you noticed as men get older their balls get smaller.

"...threatened legal action against the NCAA ..."

It's all you have to say anymore.

So TN law now says that no school can EVER again be hit with

A post season ban.

“An athletic association’s governing actions … must not interfere with an intercollegiate athlete’s ability to earn compensation in accordance with this part and must not otherwise impact an intercollegiate athlete’s eligibility or full participation in intercollegiate athletic events,” the law says, “unless the intercollegiate athlete has committed a violation of rules.”

With freshman and transfers coming in every year at least one player on the current roster would have had no part in the prior year infractions, and therefore it would be illegal to prevent he or she from participating in a post season event.

these kids are promised high-paying jobs, free places to live, and rockstar lifestyles, only to be bused in and find out that they will be playing Tennessee football.

The players have an out via the transfer portal.

Good for them. Nice to have the AG on their side.***

Daddy Sankey went with them to the NCAA meetings back in the spring too.

While I agree it would be unfortunate for incoming freshman to suffer a post-season ban, it would be their choice to stay at Tennessee. The transfer portal would be an option for all who chose to leave.

Imagine all the laws states are going to create to promote cheating now
