Well, we can laugh all we want too but when they put that in front of a recruit, then put our pitiful schedule in front of a recruit and let them decide which exposure will garner more it's a no brainer. True, they may not have the best record initially, but beamer is definitely using this against us.
Especially when you consider they've passed us in net effect recruit rankings.

Our schedule this year compares pretty favorably to anybody's. FSU, Notre Dame, UNC, and Miami. With Georgia in the OOC schedule, next year probably will be reasonable as well. Nobody wants to be a doormat so I don't think that USC's schedule is going to be anything that Beamer is going to be showing many recruits.

There can only be so many big dogs in one conference. I can see a recruit knowing they will never win anything (a ring),wanting to go somewhere they can win something.

Who is their 8th SEC opponent? Only 7 listed. I bet they are going back to the 3 cupcake schedule in addition to us next year for non con. No additional non con game like UNC this year.

I'll tell ya when the SEC goes to 9 conference games and they will I don't know why the coots would not want our game to become one of those 9 conference games so they can schedule 3 games noncon to count towards a bowl. It's going to be brutal with 9 SEC games and Clemson (granted we come out of this slump)
