Syracuse is a whole lot better this year

But then again so are we, do you think we beat them down for revenge or do we just play the game and squeeze out a win?

I think it's hard to say for sure because there's often factors you don't see coming such as turnovers, mistakes, or costly penalties. However, if Clemson plays its A game then I have a hard time seeing the outcome still being in doubt entering the 4th quarter.

Clemson as a team should be focused and fully prepared to kick Syracuse out of DV with a resounding loss. Anything less than a dominating performance will be quite disappointing! Last year we were just plain flat, the coaching staff was not tuned in, and little mistakes and injuries cost us big time. KB, Trevor and both running backs need to be dialed in and ready to play. Coach V. and staff really need to get the secondary locked in and the defense needs to come hungry to slow down the opponent's offense. Our offense needs to be balanced and just enjoy being home for a conference game.
Our home crowd needs to be "loud and proud" and the noise needs to last the entire contest. The team which beat Ga. Tech needs to continue taking steps to become the best it can be. Saturday should be fun!
Go Tigers!

victory as motivation.
Which may be one of the reasons why TL will be the starter: to open up full throttle and put the friggin' game away PDQ. Destroy their motivation, keep our crowd in the mix while keeping our team's chutzpah at the highest level.
Thus, we'll play the game, win, and I don't expect a close score.

I don't expect them to get away with 15 push offs like they did with Ishmael last year either, it literally took everything under the sun to go wrong in that game just for them to squeak out a 3 pt win. I can promise you the defense is going to be ready and full throttle from start to finish in this one.

With the quotes I've seen from our defense they're definitely ready!

I had a nightmare last night that they repeatedly beat Fields and Muse deep for TDs.

The other Orange team's record is misleading

They may be 4-0, but their stats are against them on defense. They've given up 20.5 points per game, yet they are 87th in total defense. If their defense can't move the ball, it's going to be a long day for Syracuse.

I foresee a 37-24 type of game.
Eric Dungey is essentially a poor man's Lamar Jackson. I'd even argue that Syracuse is a poor man's 2016 Louisville.
You basically have a below-average defense with a slightly above-average offense simply due to some pretty good skill players.
But as we all know, the game is won in the trenches, and that's where Syracuse will eventually give way.
They'll score, but it won't be enough.

Last season on a short week with Dabo planning a trip back home to Bama. I believe the whole program dropped the ball, not to mention a beat up KB. I think the team took them lightly and learned the hard way. I can see the Tigers just dismantled the Orange Sat. I can assure you of one thing they WILL get our full attention.

Dungey reminds me of a poor mans Tim Tebow for some reason. You guys see that too?
