Jackson earned his venerable sobriquet at 1st Bull Run.
I tell that story to tell this one.
Over many years of watching Tiger football, I've seen little that has inspired home crowd & team more than a defense stonewalling opposing offenses and denying them of any hope. Not a glimmer, and rises to the moment time and time again.
Looking forward to Wes and staff inspiring the boys this year.
BTW, Mary was Jackson's wife at his side when he "crossed over the river...".

Thumbs up for the civil war reference. I wish people today could understand that IT IS OKAY to appreciate and celebrate heros of the past, even if we don’t agree with 100% of what they were fighting for at the time.
