South Clemson in the late 70s was Johnstone F section.

Apr 26, 2014, 11:03 AM

I lived in A section as a freshmen/sophomore and we weren't immune to drugs but F section was like a mini Woodstock and it was south of A section.

if you can remember it, you weren't there.***

Remember the good times pretty clearly but hazy on the bad

like staying up all night in A lounge smoking packs of cigs writing papers and memorizing Spanish.

E-2 was the wild west.

Apr 26, 2014, 11:30 AM

Drugs were actually a small percentage of the mind-numbing volume of sick debauchery that occurred on a regular basis on E-2 during that era.

Assuming that's where you lived.***

Depends on the statute of limitations

Apr 26, 2014, 12:40 PM

as to whether I'll verify that or not.

even being younger, my friend, you're too dang old.

Apr 26, 2014, 7:50 PM

let that marinate a little, consider dyeing your beard, but in the end it's the truth.

So if I'm understanding what you're trying to say here...

there's NOT a native Rock Hillian exception for law breakers?!?

I used to sell tons of Dope when I was at Clemson, although most of it to frat boys i already new. A couple general rules of thumb, never trust dudes with mustaches, and never say anything aloud during the transaction in case it were being recorded. My supplier was a local businessman in Central, who surprise surprise, had the cops paid off to look the other way. He also distributed pron and would hack your satellite receiver for the right price. Some called him the Delaware Albino.

Another rule of thumb: Don't expect a refund if you aren't

Apr 26, 2014, 11:42 AM

satisfied with the product. A friend wanted me to get him a refund once when I found speed for him to study with. He said he was hungry two hours later. I told him that you know we're talking illegal drugs. I don't think small claims court will help.

I used to always wonder how my freshman year roommate could stay up all nght studying 5 nights a week, he eventually ended up leaving school because his coke addiction got so bad. I had no idea, but I did at least have the room to myself 2nd semester. :)

I saw some crazy stuff in Johnstone and I never even lived there.

that started in the early seventies... I lived in F-407 from 72-73. One night cops come busting through the stairwell and raid a room 3 doors down from me. They brought the two guys out in cuffs. And later came out with bags of what we assumed were pills and pot.
