Has nothing to do with record or the product on the field. ESECPN needs to fill out its network lineup. Campbell, Southern Miss, and Boston College games will not play well to its audience. I said this in another post but its the same reason Georgia softball at 29-21 HOSTED a 42-10 Duke team in 2021. They had to make up reasons to justify it but all was well until the Oklahoma head coach called it out.

Same season a far superior Clemson team had to travel to Tuscaloosa as a 2 seed.

She called them out this year too. Said there needs to be transparency in the seeding selection. Had we been the 12 seed in softball, we're most likely in the wcws. We'd have beaten bama this year.

That is a good point. Both Clemson softball and Coot baseball tanked in their final month of play and conference tournament. Clemson softball "barely" squeaks in as a 16, and coot baseball who is no longer even ranked is projected as a 15. These selections are about as honest as a Chicago election.

There are no “SEC rankings”.
There are 9 SEC teams in the top 20 of the RPI. Blame the RPI calculations, not the networks.

The Lamecocks have been in a slump for more than half of their season. Look at the losses. Example: They lost, at home, 9-6, to Charlotte. Just an example; there are plenty of EMBARRASSING LOSES. They should NOT be hosting.
Also, U of Teenie should not be in the Clemson regional.
DID ESPN (SEC whimp) set these brackets?

We have to understand that the Committee Chair is from the SEC and a ranking member on the Committee has a son that plays for the coots and that comes straight from the boys at D1. What do we expect though, the Committee Chair can't even talk with his eyes open. It's all good bc if your associated with a certain team whether job or family among other things they step outside while their school is being talked about. They promise, scouts honor.

Yes. They are playing bad baseball.
The selections are not based on the last month. I'm not saying I agree with the process, but the selection is valid based on the process in place.
