Let's talk about how worthless 90% of parents are

My son is involved in t-ball currently, we just recently played our 4th game. I thought this would be an enjoyable experience for everyone involved, it has not been.
A few issues: Half of these children possess no intelligence whatsoever. I know they're still young, but I can have a conversation with my 4 year old, whereas many of these kids struggle to form words. I have no idea what many of them are trying to say. Trying to talk to them is fruitless, I have more productive conversations with my pet fish. W TF are these parents doing with their kids? Nothing? Which brings me to the next issue...
We have a coach, but obviously he needs some help. I am the only one who will actually go help herd these little fuggers around bases, etc. One kid has 3 generations of family there, he ran onto the soccer fields across the street(while a game was being played) and none of them could be bothered to retrieve him. I wasn't going to do it either, which earned me some dirty looks from them. These bassturds also have plenty of input to give from the bleachers, I even ask one guy to come out here and show us how it's done. He did not. Lazy phaggot.
One parent tried to steal my sons helmet. "Ohh no my little rahtard had a Rawlings helmet, that's his!!" Bisch no it isn't, your kid hasn't had a helmet since day 1, GTFO.
What appears has happened is somehow I've gotten roped into being a babysitter for 1-1.5 hours for these bunch of worthless #####, and it makes me angry. I'm hoping we can go over to Clemson or something and be around more...decent parents. If this is what all youth sports is like I'm going to have to start drinking beforehand, or either force my son to take up bass fishing. And only bass fishing. At least that way I don't have other parents wanting me to be responsible for their own kids.

However, I was a little upset when I saw another kid shove my kid in the back. They are on the same team, wasn't sure what had happened.
So after the game I says to Mcjr, why did *Gilroy shove you in the back?
He says "oh, he said 'speed booster' and gave me a push to help me run faster".
I felt bad.

team had a mentally handicapped brother that would come sometimes to practice. Or, it may have been his cousin, but his parents were taking care of him for his aunt — don't quite remember, but he was basically a brother. Anyways, he wasn't on the team, but would like to get in the goal with me, and it made me mad because I didn't quite get what was going on and I felt like he was trying to take my position.
We went on a family trip to D.C. and when we came back he was missing. Turns out his mother killed him because she couldn't cope, and hid the body under an abandoned house in Calhoun County.
That was a weird thing to process in 3rd grade. I still don't like thinking about Calhoun County.

Futball is better at that age than tee ball.

Tee ball is so boring and the kids barely know how to run the bases. At least w soccer they all just follow the ball around like a herd of cats.

mad when your team terror child gets slapped by another child and when the baby mama asks why you didn't say anything to the other team you reply "karma"
This kid has punched, kicked, and slapped every member of the team at every practice. He got what was coming to him.

If they want to fill their helmet up with dirt and sit there wallowing around, fine by me. Keeps them out of the way of others at least.

5 or 6 years, and we made a few lifelong friends among the parents. About half, though, since it was travel ball and they were having to pay, were relentless in criticism of the coaches as far as playing time, strategies, whatever.
Once practice starts, and until your last match, just keep your opinions to yourself. If you have playing time or other match strategies, address those with the coaches after the season.

so I think this qualifies me to state without impunity that American children should start out as soon as physically possible working in sweatshops for minimal pay and the use of frequent caning as a learning tool. If a child shows aptitude and proper attitude, they could then be elevated from the sweatshops and placed in schools, sports, and other activities...with the caveat that with regression comes relegation. It's this simple formula that will prepare our future generations for the inevitable post-apocalyptic warlord-led society.

people also get pissed if you talk to junior too harshly. You're screwed either way.
There's so much drama in kids sports, and it all stems from the adults.

Most 4 year olds can't hold a conversation.
It's a development thing that varies. They'll all catch up by 6 to 8.
When I was "coaching" that age group we drafted based on parents that weren't a PITA and after that hot moms.
Sounds like your coach chose poorly but the league has to support the coaches.
Most 4 year olds aren't going to get much out of t-ball either.
They are only offering it because of soccer starting that early and they don't want to lost kids to soccer who may never come back.

different breed of goatees, shiny trucks and tucked in t-shirts
I got roped into doing what you did for my son's soccer last year. It was kinda fun because my coach in high school was his coach at 5 yrs old. Said coach also won a national championship at Indiana as a player and coached the Battery for quite some time
I wound up being the parent that would stray away from the rest because I just couldn't stand the commentary. It's 8:30 on a Saturday morning and I don't really care about your investments and general dooshbaggery and utter lack of soccer knowledge
I'm with you on this one that the parents are just idjits and there's not much we, as upstanding Clemson men, can do to fix stoopid
