Odds we pick up a BIG12 for OOC game?

The Big12 is also planning to do a 10 plus 1 model. In the event the SEC keeps their conference only schedule (I believe that’s highly likely now that the ACC has released full schedules), anyone think we might be in the running to pick up a BIG12 team?

I hope so but it will more than likely be a smaller in state school.

There's supposed to be a money problem, why would you pay an in state school to play when you could schedule an home/away with another team?

not going to get a B12 team to come here for a single game and we can't offer a return visit until like 2040 as our schedule is full for the next 20 years
it's going to be The Citadel unless the legislature makes it be UCS. Personally, I'd rather not be playing a non-conf game at all if it's not UCS. Why risk the season by bringing in an outside opponent and potentially infecting the team prior to the only games that matter. They offer no competition, only the potential to ruin the season by spreading the virus.

When would Clemson be able to return the date? Looks to me like future non conference dates are booked through 2034.

Unless I misread the ACC rules that came out a week or so back, the OOC game HAS to be a team in the state of South Carolina.

Has to be against a team in your home state or played at the ACC school's home.

Zero. Their extra games have to be home games.
