Sirius question - if/when DJ enters the portal

what kind of team/program would be best suited for him - if any? I'm just a fan - not a guy with all the intimate knowledge of different types of quarterbacks, offenses, etc. All I know is I see a guy with a lot of potential and talent, but incredible inconsistency and possibly some issues with handling pressure (psychological, not necessarily defensive, but that, too).

I'm thinking he'd be most likely to get picked up by a smaller program that didn't have the expectations of a P5 program like Clemson. I think that's what's really killed him - expectations. He's not lived up to his own, I'm sure, and certainly not to the fans. That has to hurt a competitor like him who, prior to college, had not really known any failure.

I think it's pretty obvious he'd go to the west coast, but I just don't see a major P5 program picking him up, given his record of inconsistency the last two years. He's clearly a hard worker. Clearly has some talent. Clearly a good leader. But clearly is not able to be consistent on the field.

At least not in our system. Maybe somewhere else, but some of his issues may just be between his ears.

I don't see anyone anywhere questioning whether he should be a QB in the first place. I think he should switch to tight end.

Although I doubt he'd be interested in joining them, but I think Wisconsin would be the best fit for him. Super pro style offense that is run heavy, but could use his arm strength in the play action game. But for my 2 cents I'd say he's going out west, UCLA most likely.
