We desperately need Sheridan to have a huge year.

CB is the only question mark on this defense. We’ve always had that true #1 lockdown guy. Booth, DK, Terrell, Trayvon, Cordrea, and Mackensie. It’s tbd if we have that guy this year. Sheridan has the best chance. And it’s his bag year, so the amount of money on the line is significant. He has 2-3 round potential. Just has to put it all together.

Spot on. We have a couple of those potential lock down CB's but just don't have the experience. It's exciting to see how/who it plays out. We should have a few games to get some of that inexperience some reps.

Never seen Jones stand out as a hitter or cover man. Looking for Wiggins, Greene, and young studs Lukus and Pride to beef up CB rotation.

Things tend to change when you get into your "dog years" of eligibility! Especially if your problem was attention to detail and playing with enough desire/desperation! Not that he had a problem; but maybe he never was motivated enough to push the players ahead of him.

I agree - we really need him to have an outstanding season. I love the potential of the talent backing him up though.

I'm excited to see how it shakes out and if he has indeed taken that next step.

We have had some talented guys come through who didn't put it all together until very late. Or perhaps they are the type that "have to be the starter"! Some people believe it or not; who have been stars ever since they picked up the sport - have a hard time with only showing what they can do in "Spot Duty situations"!

Maybe that's Jones's case/I hope it's his situation.
