in that both teams will probably be left out of CFP 3rd straight year, have questions about their QB, about their Oline, about their chances to bounce back to win their leagues since competition has come even and a few teams maybe have surpassed them.

the good news is Alabama likely would not go after Dabo when Saban is taken out on a rail.

I find it interesting that these two men have won repeatedly, at the highest level in their chosen field, yet people want to talk about them like they are failures. Add in the two recent Nattys by Kirby Smart and these three guys combined have basically owned college football since the playoffs have started.
Go ahead and talk like you want to fire Nick, Dabo or Kirby, but over the next 10-20 years of not even sniffing a Natty, their respective schools will speak of them with a reverence used only for gods. These dudes don't grow on trees and a lot of fans would be wise to remember that. My statements don't mean that I was happy with DJU, the Duke loss or other subjects about Clemson football, but I know a winner and Dabo is that guy.

I believe that eventually, the NCAA will have to stop the poaching of athletes off of other teams like FSU is doing. Then, much will return back to normal.

If they had to sit a year after transferring it would make a big difference. Only grad transfers should be eligible.

You need to switch to LED....Bama has no QB...ours will be great...Bama has no secondary...ours is pro caliber...where have you been...ours are fixable Bama will take lots more work!

please know that my post was me being a messenger for Other’s thoughts particularly Paul Finebaum & other SEC’ers so don’t shoot the messenger..
and FYI I’m a 40 year vet of owning a commercial replacement lighting firm in Charlotte and having sold & shipped millions of $ worth of lighting to customers in over 20+ states..

Bama’s OLine (aside from the freshmen Left Tackle who will go first round in the 26 draft) and at least one of their corners (#3) are better than ours. Not sure if some are underestimating Texas, underestimating the impact of a bad QB, or just hating on Bama but those are bad assessments.
We have major problems, they have minor ones

The problem is money, and there is not enough of it in AL or SC to compete in the NIL era. Texas, Florida, and California dominance is inevitable. Perhaps the Northeast can compete if they ever take an interest in football again.
