Scholarships Count?

Are all the players included in the roster link below "on scholarship"? If not, how can we find out EXACTLY who is on scholarship or not? Because a recent article quote said something like "the 88 does not include coaches kids or walk-ons". If they are not included but can only have 85 in the building, then aren't they taking a scholarship up, in theory?

If I am reading your question correctly, I believe you can have as many as 125 (number may be different) but only 85 can be on scholarship. The non-scholarship players, walk-on's, etc. do not detract from the allowed 85.

Yes, that helps. Right now this years Roster lists 134 players but I know some are leaving, graduating, etc. Just trying to figure out who was an actual recruited player vs. non-recruited, walk on etc.

walk-ons have completed their eligibility. Therefore, we are over the limit and someone has to leave by August.

If I researched correctly, this years roster includes 75 players that were actually recruited (did the whole NLI and signing day thing) which would leave the other 10 scholarships awarded to WO's.
