I'm not a MAGA guy but I'd rather shop somewhere else if Goodyear thinks they can play thought police with their employees like that.

what about the highest levels of government bullying a private corporation into changing it's employee policies? Would you support that?

I agree. It's bad business. That's why I am against players taking a knee or with social justice slogans. It's just bad business imo.

Agree, ban all political speech or have totally free political speech. Picking a side is going to hurt most companies which aren't called Nike.

I saw a few Biden stickers in Wilmington, NC. Kind of surprised me. I wouldn't want a Biden sticker on my car. I don't want my car keyed or to have some wacko freak out.

The statement reads it wasn't made by Goodyear corporate. Doesn't mean so local office didn't do it and want to enforce it.
The jacklegs I worked with at Goodyear did far worse than that slide.

What struck me most is that a single blurry picture

of what looks like a Power Point slide would be the cause of so much consternation. How do we know it's real? How do we know it wasn't made by just one low-level HR guy at one facility somewhere? This is something I've been working with folks on when dealing with social media. Don't just run with anything you might see and go off the deep end. Take your time to do research and figure out the truth of the matter before spreading something.
The audacity of the President of the United States calling for a national boycott of an entire company based on this one photo is alarming.

Did Goodyear make a statement before or after
Aug 20, 2020, 12:05 PM

the President had already tweeted out for a national boycott?
Doesn't the fact that it wasn't a corporate directive, but a local one, mean it's inappropriate to boycott the corporation?

Did this actually happen?
Not saying it didn't, but that powerpoint is anything but damning evidence.

if you draw a big penus on the power point slide that says no, it might get a little more attention from some of the people who don't take this seriously. It has worked for me in the past, especially when presenting boring an dry material. It lets you know WHO is paying attention, and who is not.
