NC State Game

Skill wise this shouldn't be an issue...but there is some talent in Raleigh and the tigers (and seminoles...) have struggled over the years there.
Anyone else a bit uneasy about this?

Not after last year's game

That one was supposed to be close as well (NCSU had just lost to FSU by 3 or something like that), but quickly turned into the most thorough beatdown I've seen in a long time. I still think their talent level is way below ours, and a home stadium on Halloween night won't be enough to overcome that differential.

When you resort to gimmicks like a 'blackout' as they will do for this game, it tells you something. Real teams line up and play big boy football!

The Tigers last loss to an unranked team was in Carter-Finley in 2011 so we know it can happen!

make FSU/Clemson their Super Bowl every year. They will probably play better against us than they have in any other game this season, and the stadium will be very loud unless it's a nooner or something.
We pulled away late 2 years ago up there, but only after their long TD was controversially called back. They whipped us there in 2011, beat #3 FSU in 2012, and had #1 FSU on the ropes last year too.

I'm not. I think this team could put some trends to rest. Struggles against NC State on the road being one of them. That being said, this young team has played only one road game so far, so we don't know yet what type of road team we have. Unless Clemson has one of those bad days, I expect we'll be fully in control. Playing well on the road that week will be huge for us in terms of them building confidence of their ability to perform well on the road.
