how many albums do you have that are good enough to hit Play, listen from the beginning of track 1 to the end of the album, and say "GATTDAM, that was a monster album, I think I'll listen to it again."
There aren't too many of those ever created. A few off the top of my head:
Dark Side of the Moon PJ's "Ten" and "Yield" Eddie Vedder's "Into The Wild" soundtrack Gorillaz "Demon Days" and "Plastic Beach" Fugazi "13 Songs" Radiohead "OK Computer" haven't listened to it in years, but INXS "Kick" was one of those same with Metallica's "...And Justice For All" Alice In Chains "Dirt" and "Jar of Flies" Outkast "ATLiens" Pixies "Doolittle" Rusted Root "When I Woke" oddly enough, Slash's latest album
Huh. A few more than I thought.

I don't have near that many....one ground rule - Greatest Hits albums is cheating.
I've already gone on record with "Lifes Rich Pageant" and "Back in Black"
"Operation Mindcrime" by Queesnryche, but it's a concept album (like Pink Floyd "The Wall") - not sure that counts.
Buffett - "A1A" and "Livin' and Dyin' in 3/4 Time" - when I'm in the rare beer drinkin', hammock-layin' mood.
Supersuckers - "Evil Powers of Rock and Roll" (maybe the strongest album ever recorded)
Sex Pistols "Never Mind the Bollocks"
That's about it for me.

And Pac's Life is pretty tight, I listened to it on the way to work this morning. Granted, a lot of Pac's best stuff never really made it onto his albums. I'd have to say my favorites are "Soon as I get Home", "Ballad of a Dead Soldia", "Thug Luv" (ft. BoneThugs), and "Weed Got me Krzy".
Speaking of Bone Thugs, 1999 Eternal is another excellent album.
