None of them were student athletes to start...money grabbers...looking for a handout...would not work hard enough to get an education...everything has been given to them from before they were born! You were expecting something different!... Show methe money!

this is off based. First, on premise alone, none of these kids would be desirable enough to attract the legal NIL deals if they wouldn’t work hard, or have things set on a platter, etc.

same academic standards as regular, non-athlete students, so yeah, many are closer to professional football players than they are college students.

I think if your NIL is enough to pay for what your scholarship does then you pay your way and then your scholarship goes to a walk-on that deserves one.

do make NIL money (and some sizeable) if Clemson took a stance like this as a one off institution. And I know that’s not what your suggesting, but it won’t and can’t happen unless all schools agree, which def isn’t happening.
