If Finebum is correct and they already have their man, and will name the new head coach hire within 2-weeks, it must be someone not in playoff or NY6 contention. Who’s the best HC out there in that situation???

Dabo is not on the lists that I have seen. There are plenty of other names being thrown around including someone currently on their staff. Dabo knows better than to go to that pressure cooker. He thinks that we are bad but, their fans will eat him alive.

Who knows, Texas A&M has a cache of money so they can throw it at a HOF type coaching hire. I am sure they will be calling Dabo and a handful of others....
Either way, they have shown they are not patient to wait 4 years to see results.

HC at - Duke, Kansas, Kansas State, Oregon State, Utah, Arizona, Ole Miss, Texas State, Texas - San Antonio. These are just the names I remember off the top of my head.
I've heard all sorts of other names - big names - that are probably just being thrown out for click bait. Including - Dabo, Norvell, Brian Kelly, Lanning, DeBoer, Meyer, Kliff Kingsbury
I've heard other names including Brent Venables, Jim Harbaugh, Dan Campbell (Detroit Lions HC).
I know nothing. I have no sources.
Betting favorite right now is Elko. I suspect it will be one of the 9 head coaches I listed (schools where they are currently HC) in the first line.
Force me to guess right now and I would rank them -
1. Elko
2. Kiffin
3. Kleiman (Kansas St)
Which means it probably won't be any of those three.

I think it will be Kiffen, he's a great offensive coach and he sees what his limitations are at Ole Miss, a 9 or 10 win season at best, he recruits well and uses the portal to field a good team except when playing Bama or UGA.
