You don't HAVE to pass for a lot of yards AND run for a lot of yards.

Against inferior opposition, of course, you hope to put up nearly even numbers.

But against better teams, taking what the defense is willing to give up, with our weapons, means they get burned on that thing.

If the opponent is bent on taking away the pass, then if we can run down their throat, we win. We have Kelly, Feaster, ETN, Fuller, run all day. So what if we have less than 100 yards passing?

If they try to take away the run, and we can pass for 300+ yds, we win. We have Kelly sit back and pick them apart find each open receiver, be it Cain, or Renfrow, or Ray-Ray, or Overton, or even a running back drifting out of the backfield. So what if we rush for less than 100 yards?

We'll run enough so that even if they are stacked up to prevent the run, we keep them committed to that and torch them with Bryant and WRU. We'll pass enough so that even if they are using everyone in zone coverage to keep completions down, well keep them honest and Kelly and 4 quality RBs (and 2 special RBs) will make it look like a track meet.

Then only problem will be if we shoot ourselves in the foot with short field turnovers.
