I had chosen The Natural as well this evening. 11 degrees in Michigan so not going outside. Flipping through and The Natural was on Encore.
For Tin Cup v Bull Durham....that is another tough one. I think I'd chose Bull Durham. At least that is what I feel as I look at the snow drift on my deck in the back.

Ah, this thread has brought us to 3 of my

favorite movies not named Blazing Saddles.
For me, it goes Bull Durham, Field of Dreams, The Natural. I guess I like Bull Durham better because of it being light hearted.
I have one fond memory of The Natural though. It was my first serious girlfriend after college, we'd only been dating a week. She came up from Gaffney and baked me a peach pie, we then watched the Natural. Of Wilford Brimly was being grumpy. the lady asked why he had to be so mean. I replied, "If you had diabetes and had to eat Quaker Oats all day, you'd be grumpy too." She laughed. A few hours later, I find out she'd been going commando and we proceed to have the first good sex of our relationship.
She left me for Jesus and married a gay fella.

But Field of Dreams will make you feel better, so I'd probably watch Field of Dreams.
Also, The Natural is a great novel. You'll be surprised at the ending, though.
