Did any Juan attend The Eagles concert last night?

Another amazing show! Played for 3 hours with a 20-minute break. Had the Greenville Symphony backing them up. What a treat for those people!
An older, respectful crowd except for the young couple sitting beside me. They were not watching the concert. GF kept videoing BF as he sang along, and then posting to her social media account(s). If only I knew who they were so I could "follow"...

time. But, it does make me a little sad that they have essentially become their own "cover band."
There are six surviving members of The Eagles, at one time or another, and yet, only 3 of them currently play with the band.
Bernie Leadon (original guitarist) and Randy Meisner (original bassist) have played with them on the rare occasion.
Don Felder (superb guitarist who joined the band starting with the "On the Border" album) actually SUED the band over financial issues, and got an undisclosed, but believed to be multiimillion dollar settlement years ago. Safe to say, as long as Don Henley is alive, he will probably never be asked to play with them again.
Stuart Smith took his place, but only as a paid sideman, many years ago. He is great, but again, it's just a slightly diminished cover of the original.
Vince Gill was brought on not only to sing the "Glenn Frey" lead vocals, but also because he can also handle the Randy Meisner high vocals on some of the older songs that they are now performing for the first time in years.
For anyone who has never seen The Eagles, they are DEFINITELY still worth the price of admission, and then some.

The Eagles are absolutely my all-time favorite band. I've seem them live at least six or seven times over the years, but I don't really have a desire to pay a boatload of money for tickets to see what has effectively become an Eagles "cover band".

I saw them in DV back in the 80's. Joe Walsh even did a solo set and it was KickA$$. I'd just as soon check the stuff out now on YouTube instead of paying the ticket prices and fighting the crowds. But that's just me.

Bernie is a friend of mine. I used to see him every year at a function I go to in Knoxville, but he hasn't been in the last few years. I saw him playing with them a few years ago at one of the music award shows, but don't know how much he plays with them anymore.

Yeah, I'm sure it's definitely well worth it.
I thought about it but after going to Elton John's farewell tour concert last Wednesday and a full week in Hilton Head it was just too much... And it's planting season. Plus we have Kenny G in a couple weeks. Think we might try to make the one in Salt Lake but not sure.

rock concert without you?"
Butt, then I quickly remembered, I let my wife attend a Kenny Chesney concert without me a few years ago. (She and my two sons, who hopefully kept her on the straight and narrow!)

I can attest that there were no bananas involved. I did, however, witness one half-melted Snicker Bar.

Best concert I’ve ever been to.

First time for me seeing the Eagles...fantastic...
Very clever the way they handled the Hotel California album.

A great concert, their performance was amazing. I was fortunate to get great seats, front row in the middle. They gave 110% for little ‘ol Greenville. They also used a local orchestra and choir. Recovering today from too much rum, singing, yelling and staying up too late. Worth today’s pain and would definitely do it again.

Wish I could have been there. These guys are not just excellent, they are historic.
Sign me up to see even a decent "cover band" of them.

Astonishing performance. Tightest musicianship I’ve ever seen/heard from a rock band. The harmonies were superb. Go see ‘em if you ever get the chance. Well worth the price of admission. Good beer too
