My Tenn pitcher synopsis based on RPI stats

Since I’m board today, I was pondering how good the Tenn pitcher was this year based on his results related to the competition he faced

Scanning through the Tenn schedule, he went 6-6 w/ 2 no decisions. He started the year as the Friday starter and ended as the Saturday starter

His home record was 6-1 w/ 1 ND
His away record was 0-5 w/ 1 ND

His best win appears to be against Kentucky (#2 rpi) 10-7. He pitched 5 innings and gave up 3 runs
The next would be Vandy (#5) where he gave up 1 run in a complete 7 inning game. My only caveat here would be that he gave up his run in the top of the first and Tenn scored 9 in bottom of the 1st. Sorta takes the pressure off
Next was TAM (#27) 10-4. 6.2 innings and 3 runs
Then Moorhead St. (#115, but as we know, a tough out in any sport) 23-4, 5.2 and 2
Dayton (#192), 12-2, 5.2 and 2
Finally Gonzaga (#195) 8-2, 6 and no runs

No decisions
LSU (#7), home, Tenn lost 2-5, 4.2 and 2
Miss St (#46), away, Tenn won 12-8, 3 inning and 4 runs

Losses
Ark (#3) 3-6, 4.1 innings, 2 runs
UF (#4) 1-6, 4 innings, 3 runs at home
Usuck (#8) 2-6, 5.1 and 2
UGa (#41) 1-3, 6 and 3
Mizz (#44) 1-9, 5.2 and 6
Arizona (#45) 1-3, 4.2 and 2

Average RPI of teams he beat - 89.33
Average RPI of ND teams - 26.5
Average RPI of teams he lost to - 24.17

Means nothing except it’s now 1 hour closer to game time for me, but I think we have to help Tenn beat us or we’re in good shape
