My observations from coot game

I figured them to be 6-6 at the beginning, but watching them last night, UNC could have rolled easily, they did have the two interceptions...What really stuck out to me, UNC had like 17 sacks all of last year, and 9 last night? Their OL is terrible. Their WRs made some great catches, but were rarely open. Their running game is less than bad (-2 yds). As long as they can't run, then the line will blitz on every play, and "the snake man" will not be able to finish the year! They would be better just to run Rattler every play...no hand offs!
I can assume that the UNC defense has gotten better, but I think that the coot offense made them look great! So, the bottom line, Coot offense sucks, Coot defense sucks, Coot special teams OK...so Massey may be right (3 wins)! COOTS SUCK!

Leggett is a solid WR. I’ll give him his due. Caught contested balls and was used every way they could use him. Had it not been for him SC might only have 3 points.
Also what happened to their 5* freshman WR? Oh yeah he’s not a WR. He was rated a 5* because of his workout numbers and his DE potential. SC was one of the teams that told him what he wanted to hear and are having to try and train him to play WR.

What's with their RB situation? Is Joyner really their best bet to carry the ball? (13 carries)

He drew the short straw... With that OL there were not many takers.

UNC defense still sucks, Rattled lit them up for over 350 yards. Coots just couldn’t run the ball. They better get ready for the Furman game. It’s not gonna be the walk in the park they might think.

I looked in the RB situation. Their best RB. Loyd went to the real USC. He had 79 yards on 7 carries.
Beamer's team is in real trouble. Transfer Portal gives but can take.

1. It’s still a bad idea to encourage coots to gather
2. Somebody needs to invent an ointment for the Aluminum Rash Epidemic that’s about to breakout in cootlumbia

Their defense seems OK and their passing

game has alot of promise, but the OL is just sooooo bad. I thought Rattler had a very good game considering he was under immediate pressure all night. Leggette looked like the real deal out wide. He had a couple of insane catches.
But that OL is just such a liability right now. I think they could win 7-8 games with a decent OL, but probably no more than 5 with quality of line play they got last night. Can they get that group playing better?

Don't really agree about their defense...They allowed UNC to go 8-13 on third down conversions, and allowed 4.3 yds per carry...and we all know that UNC should have scored more points, I know of no defense that is considered "good" if they average giving up that many points...Their defense also had the benefit of numerous bad ump calls!
