I went around a sharp curve yesterday afternoon and had to quickly stop as a car was stopped in the lane- 150 yards from a stopped school bus (a smart place to stop) I was as close as I could get to her bumper because I was afraid the next car to come around the bend couldn’t stop soon enough- and this barely 16 year old girl flips me the bird as she drove off. You dads out there please teach your children how to be safe on the road…… and maybe a little courtesy because that might be dangerous in other ways.

She was driving and a "kid" female tried to cut the turn in front of her so close she nearly hit us. She apologized by honking and flipping us off, lol.
I hope her stupid father's insurance premium is more than his mortgage.

I turnaround and follow them for a while if I have time. Scares the crap out of them.

Young girls with zero situational awareness, it never ceases to amaze. I've seen it many times over the years here in the Lowcountry.
I remember my Dad explaining this concept to my sometimes mouthy-teenage sister... "don't ever bow up, or run your mouth to a grown man unless you want to end up in the hospital, or worse".
Maybe I'll mention it to my 24 yr old daughter-in-law the next time I see her.

I guess saying my feelings were hurt doesn’t express the way I really felt- had a few adjectives to describe her attitude - she had no clue that she should have moved much closer to the bus to avoid being hit in the curve

Lol...at least you kept your composure.
The sad part is what you experienced isn't all that uncommon anymore.
Kids aren't taught to have an ounce respect for other people by their parents. They assume they're the center of the universe (especially girls) and act accordingly.
Interesting how most of these idiotic social behaviors became common place in our country as people quit going to church, reading the bible, believing in God, etc....

The last driver to flip me off was an old woman in a Mercedes. She was apparently furious that I took time to look both ways before pulling into an intersection. She might have bought a classy car but that sure didn't make her a classy person.
