You have the option of tuning in to hear Todd Ellis have an aneurysm with every completed carolina pass and run that somehow makes it back to the line of scrimmage. Heaven forbid the fake carolina actually scores a touchdown, your ears will be treated to orgasmic utterances of true surprise at their modest success. I think I will stick with Munson.

Munson is just not a good voice for the tigers, but it doesn’t matter. It’s rare that there isn’t a tv broadcast and you have to listen to radio. If it’s Munson or silence, I also choose silence.

I’ve been experimenting with muting the announcers from the broadcast using surround sound and I think that’s the best option

He is unlistenable. Unless, the coots are losing to a team that is really bad. The desperation and despair in all of their voices in that instance, is priceless.

I go Munson every game. Watching it live or on tv. Today’s announcers drive me nuts. Think I have gotten used to Munson, Bourret and Merriweather. To each their own at least we are all watching…GO TIGERS!

I miss Jim Phillips too, but the way some on here act, Munson buttraped their mommy. To each his own, but for me Munson does a decent job, and has never evoked any kind of intense negative emotional response from me like he seems to have done for many of you.

It’s not that we dislike Munson, it’s simply that he is not a good play by play guy. Philpott or Yanity are both better choices

Every few weeks a couple of people on this site seem to trash Don Munson for no good reason. I have to believe that they are disgruntled because either they or their friends missed out on Don's job. Don does a good job for Clemson. It seems like the same people who trach Don love Mickey Plyer and Walt on WCCP. I refuse to listen to either of them. Amateurs at best.
