If we had decided to move on earlier, which we should’ve, Clemson may have had more opportunity to make a push to Beard, or maybe even other coaches.
Pintino disclaimed the rumors about him to St. John’s, so he’s still available.
It’s such a disappointment what we are settling for. You can shell out $40 million for facilities rather than putting it towards a new coach.

We sure don't need the 'cloud of Rick Pitino' on the Clemson basketball resume, nor Will Wade.
But Brownell and the Tigers sure showed a bad program image last night. Brad will be lucky to regain support for his program next season. This loss last night was on him and the staff for letting the players on the floor to futilely continue launch 3 point shots. Same situation occurred for VT in their loss to Cincy.

And the other guy who brought hookers in to "entertain" recruits. No thanks. Moving on to another coach is a reasonable discussion; however, going full SEC win at all cost is not gonna happen here.

Neck And the bruises on her face. There are photos of the aftermath of his abuse. The reason it can't be proven is because his fiancee withdrew her statement and now refuses to testify. Which is unfortunately something that often happens when women are abused. He laid his hands on a woman period end of story. Perhaps the circumstances aren't egregious enough to warrant jail time but they're certainly serious enough to disqualify him from teaching our 18-25 guys how to become men.

Stated she was "raped by multiple men and trafficked by an Asian grooming gang" ... convicted of proven false charges and she looks severely beaten.

they would look at anyone with a history like Beard, Petrino or Wade. It starts with character, then you look for ability to win, recruit, build a program, etc. at Clemson. It's the first box that has to be checked.

we'd have a helluva lot more fun as fans with either of those 3. Their sins would be forgiven quickly. And eventually people stop caring about all of that..the cloud hangs around and media slams you initially...and then no one cares. They win 25 games, conf titles, make tourney runs and it doesnt matter.

but at some point you forgive people for things they did. Right now, Beard is a no-go, maybe in 5 years he's fine..idk. Will Wade seems like a crap dude no matter if hes by the book or not but most of these guys have a trail of past discretion's you can balk at.
I think our leadership does a great job in leading with integrity and making sure that is foremost in our athletics programs, but we also celebrate the successes of Danny Ford and Cliff Ellis...who lets be real...were cheating fools. Some of best season in Clemson sports history period, were bought and paid for.
